Payroll Services Assistant

: Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties to support the processing of multiple payrolls. Essential Job Functions Greet visitors who come to the payroll office, both from the Denison University community and those outside the community. Help direct them, answer any questions and receive payroll related documentation. Perform data maintenance entries along with payroll preparation verification for multiple payrolls: monthly administrative staff and faculty, biweekly support staff, and biweekly student payrolls. Check electronic and paper time sheets as necessary assisting the Payroll Services Specialist with setting up students to be paid via web time entry approval and approver access set-up. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• At least one year of prior experience in administrative data entry and front desk clerical work.
• Must have experience with confidential data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing with knowledge of pay period information preferred.
