Quality Control Inspector

Job Title: Cleanroom Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cleanroom Technician to join our manufacturing facility. This temporary position plays a crucial role in ensuring that precision-machined aerospace and defense components and assemblies meet stringent quality and engineering requirements. The Technician will conduct detailed inspections using various mechanical tools and document the results meticulously.
Responsibilities

• Perform first piece, work-in-process, and final inspections, including visual inspections.
• Support manufacturing with mechanical and visual inspection for first piece parts.
• Record and maintain quality records accurately.
• Communicate inspection results and findings effectively to the manufacturing team.
• Conduct customer First Article Inspections.
• Initiate Non-Conforming Material Reports for any discrepancies.
• Collaborate well with peers and the manufacturing team to solve issues and enhance continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with various tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and internal quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in Production and Quality Control environments.
• Proficiency with hand tools and CMM inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and AS9100 standards.
• Experience with mechanical inspection techniques.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing setting that can be noisy and subject to dust and temperature variations. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The facility operates under AS9100, ISO9001:2008, and NADCAP standards, ensuring a high-quality production environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livermore, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
