Our client, a leading health system in Durango, CO, is seeking a Radiology Tech to provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department, performing high-quality images and exams with sensitivity to patient needs, and upholding safe radiation practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring safety for all individuals and practicing ALARA radiation safety.
• Produces quality images accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Prepares patients, provides procedure information, responds to needs, and assists with patient positioning.
• Observes patient and equipment during procedures, reporting unusual occurrences and documenting conditions.
• Facilitates smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment and resources.
• Correctly inputs charges, required data, and completes necessary hospital/medical imaging paperwork for each exam.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma.
• One (1) year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
• Registered Technologist, Radiology R.T. (R) (ARRT)
• Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
• Kansas LRT (applicable entities)
• Preferred: Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Previous Radiologic Technologist experience, Bone Density certification within six (6) months of hire, if applicable to entity.

• $27.97 - $47.11/hour
