Details Acute care hospital setting with a Level I Trauma designation Single‑scanner CT department performing routine CTs, trauma, and stroke studies Average of 10–25 scans per day Uses Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS Primary equipment is the Siemens Somatom Xcite (new platform) 12‑hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday with additional shifts available Holiday coverage is required No call or standby requirement No floating to other departments Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience Active BLS certification (AHA) Active ARRT (CT) certification — pending certifications will not be accepted Active state or compact (NLC) licensure — pending licenses will not be accepted; license required if applicable Strong computer skills with the ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and communicate effectively Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — a copy of your driver's license is required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Performs routine CT scans, trauma imaging, and stroke protocols 2‑day department‑specific orientation; candidates must be on‑site for the orientation week even if initial modules are completed remotely A radiation dosimetry badge (Rad Badge) must be provided prior to starting the assignment Candidates must not have been directly employed (full‑time, part‑time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered Professional scrub colors are acceptable; scrubs are not provided No radiologist is on‑site; no IV starts required American Traveler Job ID #P-720480.
