MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
• Experience starting IVs

Assignment Details

• 12-hour shifts.
• Three shifts scheduled each week, plus call.
• Call required 1 night per week.
• Weekend call required every 3-4 weekends.
• Holiday coverage required.
• Charting system: EPIC.
• Department equipment: GE.
• General MRI studies include head, neck, abdomen, and extremity imaging.

Location Highlights

Durango offers access to mountain recreation and a walkable historic downtown. Downtown Durango includes the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and is about 27 miles from Purgatory Resort, which supports skiing in winter and mountain biking in summer. Mesa Verde National Park is about 35 miles west of Durango, and the Animas River Trail runs through town with paved access for running and cycling. The city is in southwest Colorado near the San Juan Mountains, and U.S. Highway 550 connects Durango to outdoor areas such as Molas Pass and Silverton.
