Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level associate or counsel to join its expanding Real Estate team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in commercial real estate development, with expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing transactions, particularly leasing matters. The role involves working on complex developer-sided transactions and requires confidence in closing deals. Duties Collaborate with partners on complex real estate transactions. Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leasing, and loan documents. Conduct due diligence reviews. Requirements Superior written and oral communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Strong interpersonal skills for client and attorney communication. Interest in business development. Ability to work independently and productively. Ambition to grow within a collaborative environment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) required. Certifications Bar admission required or eligibility to waive into the jurisdiction.
