Certified Nursing Assistant - Part-Time Evenings

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a part-time evening schedule. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing quality care to residents while meeting their individual needs. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to established care plans and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, promptly responding to call lights and alarms.
• Support residents' nutritional needs through meal delivery and feeding assistance while honoring their preferences.
• Implement rehabilitative care strategies in accordance with the individualized plan of care.
• Report resident concerns and changes in physical or emotional status to the Charge Nurse.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize exposure to bloodborne pathogens during caregiving tasks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or RQI.
• Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care (LTC) or a similar capacity.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Schedule

This position requires availability for first-day orientation (full shift) on a Tuesday or Thursday, followed by part-time evening shifts (2x8 or 3x8 hours).
