Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based treatment. Supervises and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety, comfort, and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients to identify immediate care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding condition management and post-discharge care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate interdisciplinary care activities.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have a minimum of two years recent ICU or acute care nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in critical care procedures and equipment.
• Be willing to work night shifts, with various shift lengths available.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
