The Importance of the Role

The Senior Manager, Global Medical Affairs Strategy, RNA Therapeutics , is a key contributor to the GMAL team within the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) department. As GMALs, we drive medical strategy and tactics to establish and elevate the impact of Sarepta’s science and therapies. This role will contribute to our mission through strategic and tactical scientific support of Sarepta’s PMO and siRNA therapies.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

• Serve as an integral member of the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) team, providing support to:
  • The development and execution of GMA strategy for product launch and life-cycle management to bring alignment on key initiatives for therapeutic area in line with overall Corporate and Medical priorities in close collaboration with RNA or siRNA Global Medical Affairs
  • Identifying data gaps and drive data generation initiatives, including participation into IIS/SRA program.
  • The development of scientific narratives that align the organization on key, scientifically supported messages
  • Analysis of clinical, non-clinical, real-world data and post-hoc analyses
• Contribute to congress, symposia, advisory board and expert committee strategy development and creation of content. Use output to help inform GMA and key organizational activities.
• Collaborate with GMA team, to collect, organize, and analyze relevant disease state and competitor data; timely and routinely share new data finding and key learnings across GMA.
• Connect insights, data, and technology to enable best decisions for GMA and Program Teams; orchestrate action for GMA on insights.
• Deliver training based on identified needs and proactive initiatives to internal stakeholders
• Build strong relationships that foster working effectively and in close collaboration with cross-functional partners to plan and execute tactics.
• Build DMD and siRNA competency and profile within Sarepta through education and training in line with scientific narratives
• Remain informed of current developments within pertinent medical and scientific communities through familiarity with current literature, attendance at scientific meetings, conventions, professional associations of physicians.
• Provide end-to-end support for medical content (e.g., slide decks, FAQs, talking points), including development and updates of assigned materials and management of Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review processes in Veeva.
• Manage vendors by providing strategic scientific guidance for the development and updating of medical materials and supporting the review and approval process.
• Maintain approved medical materials by reviewing expiring decks, incorporating the latest data, and coordinating MLR review in Veeva.
• Participate in medical review process for redacted and/or anonymized clinical trial documents
• Serve as the medical lead or reviewer for congress materials, including symposia and booth content.
• Address inquiries and requests from Field Medical teams and Medical Information.
• Represent Global Medical Affairs (GMA) on cross-functional teams as needed.
• Act as a role model for integrity, compliance, and ethical conduct.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

More about You

• Doctorate degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with experience in rare disease, neuromuscular disorders or related field preferred
• Models initiative, motivation and adaptability for others
• Possesses a collaborative spirit and collaborates well with others
• Demonstrates ability to work independently, anticipate problems and proactively seek solutions and/or help with solutions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver effectively against deadlines

#LI-HybridThis position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.The targeted salary range for this position is $152,400 - $190,500 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges.
