Senior Principal Software DeveloperCACI is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Software Developer to support a mission-critical program for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In this role, you will utilize well-defined software processes, such as Agile, to work as part of a development team in a rapid development environment. You will design, code, and unit test front-end and back-end solutions for integrated systems, develop integration code to connect systems and services, and build solutions that promote interoperability through open standards and service-based architectures. This position offers the opportunity to directly support national security missions in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Utilize well-defined software processes, such as Agile, to work as part of a development team in a rapid development environmentDesign, code, and unit test front-end and back-end solutions for integrated systems using languages and packages such as HTML, CSS, C++, C#, Java, and JavaScriptDevelop integration code to connect and interface systems and servicesDevelop solutions that utilize open standards and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to promote interoperability through service-based architecturesSupport the development and configuration of database systemsAnalyze, fix, and document Discrepancy Reports (DRs) on systemsParticipate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to support team delivery goalsCoordinate with program stakeholders to ensure development work aligns with business and technical requirementsQualifications: Required:Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain SCI and polygraphBachelor's degree in any field/major, or 7 additional years of relevant information technology experience in lieu of degreeExperience using languages and packages such as HTML, CSS, C++, C#, Java, and JavaScriptExperience designing, coding, and unit testing front-end and back-end solutions for integrated systemsDesired:Technical certification such as Network+, Security+, Oracle, or a certification specializing in software development or cloud computingCertified AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or higher) or equivalent AWS certificationExperience with Momentum Financials (Unison/CGI) systemsExperience supporting NGA or other NGA/IC customer environments specificallyWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
