Practice Development + Training + Sales/Revenue role where the person visits eye-care practices, gets them using the platform, trains the staff, increases product sales, and manages the performance of those practices.

About the role

We re a fast-growing digital eye care platform powering thousands of optometry practices nationwide. Our marketplace brings doctor-curated retail (readers, sunglasses, OTC, and more) directly into the practice.

We re hiring a Practice Development Manager to own Marketplace performance across up to 65 NYC practices. You ll get doors live on the platform, train doctors and staff, and change how practices sell .

This is a revenue role with a change management core: software adoption succeeds or fails at the front desk, and your job is to make sure it succeeds .

What you ll do

Own a territory of up to 65 NYC practices end to end: activation, training, adoption, revenue.

Drive attach rate and revenue per door as your primary numbers.

Lead change management inside each practice, shifting staff workflow so the platform becomes how they sell, not an extra step.

Train practice teams, from front desk to optical, on the platform and in-exam selling so recommendations convert at the chair.

Sell at two levels: the doctor on the curated retail model, the staff on daily usage.

Own transaction follow-through: monitor orders in each practice, catch drop-offs, and make sure recommendations turn into completed purchases.

Build the daily habit: keep doctors recommending at every exam and staff placing orders, through regular in-practice touchpoints, nudges, and check-ins.

Serve as the day-to-day partner to pilot practices: share performance feedback with each door, show them what s working elsewhere, and keep them engaged through the rough edges of a new platform.

Capture and report pilot experiences back to leadership and product teams: what staff say, where workflow breaks, what s driving or blocking sales.

Turn top-performer stories into playbooks and spread them across the territory.

Manage doors by data: revive stalled practices, scale what the best ones do.

Who you are

3-5 years in optical retail, practice management, or retail field leadership, with hands-on experience driving in-store sales performance.

A natural trainer : you ve onboarded and coached front-line staff and made new ways of working stick.

Tech-fluent : you pick up new software fast and can teach it to people who don t.

Revenue-driven : you ve carried a number tied to store or practice performance and you measure yourself in revenue per door, not visits logged.

Credible with clinicians and with front-line retail staff, two different audiences, two different sales.

Comfortable in the field daily across a dense urban territory.

SaaS, healthcare tech, or platform adoption experience is a strong plus .
