Job Description
Title: RN - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule:
- Shift: 12H Night
- Shift Hours: 7p

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 4 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- New York state nursing license required at the time of submission
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Progressive Care or Telemetry
- Epic experience within the last 2 years
- Specific skills: Insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, post cardiac catheterization care

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a progressive care setting
- Monitor and assess patients with acute and chronic conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 1-2 days
- Dress Code: Scrubs in navy blue or white; closed-toe nonskid shoes; minimal jewelry; professional grooming
- Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Monday
- Must float to appropriate units as needed
- Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is recommended
