Three contract-based resource room teaching opportunities are available, working with elementary and middle school students (Kindergarten through 8th grade). Ideal candidates bring expertise as a Special Education Teacher, with a passion for helping students thrive in grades K-4, 5-6, or 6-8 resource room classrooms.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience working with diverse learners in a school setting
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction for varying learning needs and styles
• Commitment to creating supportive, inclusive educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized and small-group instruction in resource room settings
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and support staff
• Track student progress, adjust instruction, and document outcomes
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, and specialists
• Foster positive relationships with students and encourage growth and self-advocacy
• Participate in professional development and team meetings
