This contract opportunity places you at the heart of a dynamic learning environment, working with a self-contained behavior classroom dedicated to students with autism and other intensive support needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Active K-12 Special Education Certificate
• IVP fingerprint clearance card required
• Demonstrated experience in self-contained settings, particularly with autism or structured intensive support classrooms
• Expertise supporting students with emotional disabilities and diverse eligibility needs, including prosocial and self-regulatory skill development
• Sensitivity to a broad range of student backgrounds, including at-risk, culturally diverse, and English language learners
• Familiarity with federal, state, and district guidelines for special services documentation and implementation
• Completion of Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training, or willingness to participate in ongoing staff development
• Must be available for onsite responsibilities (no virtual/remote assignments accepted)

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instructional and behavioral support to students in a structured classroom setting
• Develop and implement IEPs and related documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Cultivate a safe, positive classroom community fostering self-regulation, social skills, and academic success
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other educational professionals
• Adapt teaching strategies and interventions based on student needs and developmental goals
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
