Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification for Arizona
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Skilled in working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Able to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Passion for providing an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to student needs
• Modify and adapt general education curriculum as necessary
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching approaches
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
• Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
