Operations Manager – Food Manufacturing Lead Operations. Drive Performance. Make an Impact. A growing food manufacturing company in southern Texas (relocation provided) seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead plant operations and drive safety, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. This hands‑on leadership opportunity is for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and builds high‑performing teams. Ideal candidates have a strong background in food manufacturing operations—particularly within meat, poultry, or protein processing—where this could be your next step. What You'll Do Lead daily operations across Production, Supply Chain, and Maintenance Drive plant performance through safety, quality, efficiency, and cost‑control initiatives Manage production schedules, staffing, throughput, and operational execution Champion food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance programs Develop and mentor supervisors and plant personnel Partner with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability Establish and monitor KPIs to improve operational performance Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, labor efficiency, and profitability What We're Looking For 5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing operations Strong preference for meat, poultry, or protein processing experience Proven ability to lead teams and improve plant performance HACCP training/certification preferred Experience with continuous improvement initiatives Knowledge of WMS, CMMS, and Microsoft Office applications Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus High‑energy leader with a hands‑on management style Why Consider This Opportunity?
