Payroll Manager

Our client is a consulting firm. They seek a Payroll Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities Administer payroll processing for multiple clients accurately and timely Process salaries, manage tax deductions, and administer benefits across multiple clients Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and best practices Collaborate closely with clients to gather payroll information and resolve inquiries effectively Assist clients with open enrollment and fulfill other HR-related requests Establish new employer payroll tax accounts as required by different states Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax filings Implement and maintain payroll systems Support client internal and external audits by providing records and timely documentation Protect client confidence and payroll operations by keeping information confidential Manage special payroll projects and initiatives as they arise Requirements 5+ years of experience in payroll administration and management Prior supervisory experience is a plus Strong client service orientation with excellent communication skills Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of payroll tax regulations, best practices, and compliance requirements Proficient in payroll software such as ADP, Gusto, Trinet, Paycom #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group, LLC
