What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and document observations according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and/or visitor activity to help support authorized access, maintain order, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and supervisors.
• Assist with routine security-related duties at a location that may serve staff, visitors, and/or individuals receiving services, while adapting to varying environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
