Vice President of Operations - QSR

Job Description

We are looking for a Vice President of Operations to lead the operational performance of a growing multi-unit restaurant brand.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk operations role. We need a leader who understands what is actually happening inside the restaurants, knows how to develop strong operators, and can build the systems and accountability needed to scale.

\n

\n

The VP of Operations will have responsibility for driving sales, profitability, guest experience, people development and operational execution across the organization.

\n

\n

What You’ll Own

\n

\n
• Lead restaurant operations across all company-operated locations
\n
• Develop and coach Regional and District-level operations leaders
\n
• Drive same-store sales, restaurant-level profitability and operational performance
\n
• Improve labor management, food cost, productivity and overall restaurant economics
\n
• Establish clear operating standards and hold the organization accountable to them
\n
• Build a strong pipeline of General Managers, District Managers and future operational leaders
\n
• Partner with Finance, HR, Marketing, Training, Development and other departments
\n
• Improve guest experience while maintaining speed, quality and consistency
\n
• Identify underperforming restaurants and create clear plans to improve results
\n
• Support new restaurant openings and expansion into new markets
\n
• Use data and field observations to identify opportunities across the business
\n
• Create scalable processes without overcomplicating restaurant operations
\n
• Maintain a strong presence in the field and stay connected to restaurant teams
\n
• Help build the operational infrastructure required for the company’s next stage of growth
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

\n
• Significant multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience
\n
• Experience leading Regional Directors, District Managers or similar field leadership teams
\n
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&Ls and four-wall economics
\n
• Proven ability to improve sales, labor, food cost and restaurant-level profitability
\n
• Experience operating within a growing or changing restaurant organization
\n
• Track record of developing strong field leaders and building internal bench strength
\n
• Ability to balance strategy with hands-on operational leadership
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to hold people accountable
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where not everything is already built
\n
• Experience scaling a restaurant brand, opening new locations or entering new markets is highly preferred
