Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.Job Responsibilities:Deliver nursing care in the Perioperative Services unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patientsCommunicate with various health care team members, patients, and their familiesCoordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleaguesUpdate and manage patient recordsEnter and interpret computerized data/informationFollow guidelines and policies established by BMC-Brighton's nursing organizationAssist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projectsEducation Requirements:Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 yearsRequired Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Certification in basic life support (BLS)CNOR certification (preferred)Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification (Preferred)Experience:2 years' registered Nurse experience required1 year of operating room experience (2 years preferred)Must be experienced in a circulating roleKnowledge & Skills:Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areasEffective verbal and written communication skillsPhysical ability to meet job responsibilitiesBasic computer proficiencyFluency in another language a plusJob Benefits:Competitive payStaff self-schedulingWeekend shift differentialsHighly subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance optionsNurse staffing plans that often exceed state standards for quality and safetyEmployee Referral Program for Registered Nurses up to $7500Compensation Range: $39.80- $93.69This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
