Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to better understand their needs.

• Delivering individualized and family therapy sessions that are tailored to the unique challenges and goals of each client.
\n
• Documenting services rendered, including billing details, treatment plans, and completing insurance authorization forms in a timely manner to ensure quality management and compliance.
\n
• Formulating and executing crisis management strategies, safety and wellness plans; all crucial for maintaining stable client functioning and promoting lasting change.
\n
• Developing comprehensive discharge plans that support ongoing wellness and skill retention.
\n
• Adhering to all local and federal regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies to deliver the highest standard of care.

• Engaging in continuous professional development through training sessions and ongoing education to maintain licensure and improve therapeutic skills.

• Participating in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaborative practice and improve outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact various patient demographics, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The holistic approach we embrace means you will also engage with families, addressing systemic challenges and working towards nurturing healthier relationships within those units.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure is required.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW-C) in the State of Maryland.

Preferred Experience\n

While licensure is a must, we also highly value candidates with experience in teletherapy settings, as the ability to engage clients virtually calls for a unique skill set. Familiarity with evidence-based practices, particularly in trauma-informed care, will greatly enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on your experience and licensure.
