AnaVation is seeking a hands-on Senior Proposal Manager to augment our existing Business Development Team. We are looking for a versatile, high-impact team player who can wear multiple hats and contribute across various functions. The ideal candidate is a utility player—someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, seamlessly stepping in to manage proposals, coordinate teams, and support critical business development efforts as needed. Position Responsibilities Include Deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within defined timeframes Participate in the development and review of proposal strategies and themes Direct the creation and review of proposal outlines that will be used as a key document design and control medium Leads and participates in collaborative sessions to refine win strategy, competitive assessments, and customer pain points or hot buttons Assist in analyzing solicitation requirements against proposal outlines to ensure compliance and responsiveness to the customer's issues and needs Develop and conduct all color reviews and follow up for internal evaluation of the technical, management, and overall proposal approaches Write and edit proposals for continuity, logic, organization, messaging to enhance delivery and AnaVation differentiators Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders. Specifically working with internal solutions architects, SMEs, and teaming partners Maintain proposal files, past performance catalogue; create and maintain corporate SharePoint proposal site for each managed opportunity Serve as an author or proposal section and develop RFI responses This is a hybrid role in Chantilly, VA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 5+ years’ experience writing winning differentiated Federal IT Services and Engineering proposals Strong business acumen, with willingness and ability to learn additional skills Superior organizational skills, with special attention to detail, and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management; ability to project a confident leadership image to peers, subordinates and executive management Ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously: able to be hands-on as well as strategic Must work well under pressure; demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Ability to work occasional nights, weekends as required by proposal schedules Exceptional skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Suite of Products Proposal Repository Management experience including Teams and SharePoint Ability to support on-site proposal responses as required Active TS Clearance Desired Qualifications Strong understanding of Software Development, Cybersecurity, and/or DevSecOps subject matter Experience with leading and supporting complex proposals in the DoD and Intelligence sectors Experience using Teams and SharePoint Experience using a CRM Tool such as Salesforce Experience with video and/or oral proposal presentations Demonstrated experience using generative AI for research, analysis, content generation and enhancement APMP certification Benefits Generous cost sharing for medical insurance for the employee and dependents 100% company paid dental insurance for employees and dependents 100% company paid long-term and short-term disability insurance 100% company paid vision insurance for employees and dependents 401k plan with generous match and 100% immediate vesting Competitive Pay Generous paid leave and holiday package Tuition and training reimbursement Life and AD&D Insurance AnaVation is an equal opportunity employer.
