Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of maternal and newborn physiology, postpartum complications, and lactation support.
• Ability to recognize and respond to postpartum emergencies, such as hemorrhage or neonatal distress.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate mothers and families on newborn care, postpartum recovery, self-care, and potential warning signs requiring medical attention.

Qualifications:

• GA Registered Nurse license
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred
• Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) certification preferred

Job details:

• Pay: $1,449.76 - $1,494.6 / week
• Location: Atlanta, GA
• Assignment Length: 14
• Shift: Night 3x12 - up to 36.00 hours per week
• Setting: Hospital
• Workplace: On-site
