As a Vehicle Safety Test Engineer based in Newark, CA, you will undertake critical responsibilities in setting up and conducting safety tests for vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage test equipment for vehicle safety assessments.
- Setup extensive safety tests for vehicles ensuring compliance with standards.
- Support test engineers in various safety testing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance test procedures and outcomes.
- Manage documentation and reporting of test processes and results.
Must-Have Skills:
- Deep expertise in high voltage systems.
- Profound knowledge and experience with vehicle crash testing and safety.
- Skilled in vehicle rebuilding and modifications.
Industry Experience Required:
Experience in Automotive Engineering or Vehicle Safety Testing
Additional Details:
- This role demands being primarily onsite in Newark, CA.
- Potential for travel to various testing sites nationwide.
- At least a 12-month contract with potential for extension and possible overtime.
