Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Kansas City, MO. The Business Development Manager will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with employers, wellness organizations, healthcare partners, and consumer brands aligned with WIHY AI’s mission. This role will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to needs assessment, solution presentation, proposal development, and contract negotiation. The person in this position will build and maintain a strong pipeline, develop account plans, and collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to shape offerings and ensure smooth onboarding. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, attending meetings and industry events, preparing sales materials and performance reports, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. Qualifications Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, ideally with digital health, health tech, consumer apps, or SaaS products. Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals with B2B or B2B2C partners. Ability to conduct market and competitive research, identify high-potential segments, and translate insights into targeted outreach and proposals. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex technology and value propositions in clear, practical terms. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations, and customer success) to deliver tailored solutions and successful deployments. Comfort working in a fast-paced, early-stage or growth-stage environment, with strong self-management, organization, and follow-through. Interest in health, nutrition, wellness, or consumer technology, and motivation to support healthier, more organized lives through practical tools. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency with CRM systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
