More about our team Our Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment providing advanced cardiovascular care. The team performs a wide range of procedures, including cardiac catheterizations with stents, Shockwave, CSI, rotational atherectomy (Rota), laser interventions, Impella and balloon pump support, as well as TEE, ablations, and cardioversions. We also offer select same-day discharge procedures, where patients recover for approximately four hours and may be discharged once criteria are met. As a chest pain accredited facility, Conemaugh Hospital maintains 24/7 STEMI coverage, ensuring rapid, life‑saving care at all times. We prefer candidates with 2+ years of experience in ER, ICU, PCU, or telemetry settings. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team in a dynamic, procedure‑driven environment dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiac care. Scheduling & Work Structure: Cardiac Cath Lab staff work four 10-hour shifts, with required on-call coverage (typically 2-3 days per week and every third weekend, based on staffing needs). On-call is required for weekends and holidays. EP Lab staff work five 8-hour shifts with no on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements. Schedules are posted one month in advance to support work-life balance. Cardiac Cath Lab staff work four 10-hour shifts, with required on-call coverage (typically 2-3 days per week and every third weekend, based on staffing needs).
