A hospital in Boston, MA, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to fill a temporary position with an immediate start. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with hospital experience who is ready to support inpatient pharmacy operations over the next three months or longer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all inpatient pharmacist duties with accuracy and attention to patient safety
- Verify medication orders and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the hospital’s electronic systems
- Support the pharmacy team in managing medication inventory and dispensing
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and safety
