Dental Assistant/secretary (no experience, but bilingual)

Who would you be joining?

What will you be doing?

Assist the main dental assistant (training provided)

Assist in setting up rooms, doing sterilization, taking X-rays and CBCTs
Assist the dentist (chairside)
Communicating with materials/equipment vendors etc.
Assist in buying materials, mailing documents, etc.
Assist in documentation

Assist front desk activities (training provided), such as

Help answering overflow of calls and texts
Help scheduling appointments, collecting payments, entering payments, presenting treatments
Assist in other secretarial tasks (using excel, words, etc.)
Assist in documentation

What are we looking for?

Fully bilingual communication (verbal and written in English and Spanish)
Basic mathematical skills
Strong organizational, multitasking abilities and detailed oriented (accuracy very important)
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Words, etc.
A team player with good references (trustworthy, reliable, energetic, fast-learner)
A motivated individual who brings professionalism, positive energy
Top-notch customer service skills
Familiarity with compliance of HIPPA, OSHA and infection control
Previous dental office experience desired (but not necessary)
