ASSEMBLER/PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE Location: Sumter, SC – 100% on-site Payrate: $15.90/hr Required Availability: Full-Time | Day shift 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (schedule: 3 days on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off, weekends included) Full-time hours (40+ per week) This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Responsibilities Perform manufacturing/assembly tasks involved in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices Set up, operate, perform basic maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment as needed Conduct quality inspections on the processing line to meet specifications Read, interpret, and follow written procedures/specifications (English) and perform basic math calculations Use basic measurement tools (example: microscopes) Rotate into different tasks/responsibilities as needed; work effectively in a team environment Maintain regular, punctual attendance and follow quality/safety guidelines Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) required Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days Experience: 1+ year of manufacturing/assembly experience Footwear: Steel toe shoes required Vision: Eye exam required contingent upon hire; must have 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses and/or pass a color vision exam Physical: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; able to stand/walk/sit for extended periods Schedule: Ability to work 8:00 AM–8:00 PM day shift on a rotating schedule (includes weekends); willingness to work flexible/extended hours as needed Skills: Effective communication; ability to read/write/understand English specifications; attention to detail; team-oriented #J-18808-Ljbffr A-Line Staffing Solutions
