Project Accounting Administrator

Our client, a growing construction company, is seeking an Accounting Administrator to support the accounting team with day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter Accounts Payable invoices
• Record and post Accounts Receivable transactions
• Assist with payment processing and collections follow-up
• AIA, Job Cost
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding account inquiries
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience IN A CONSTRUCTION or PROJECT ACCOUNTING environment
• Experience with AP and AR data entry and processing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within a construction setting.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience.
