Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty field License: Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification Must-Have: - Associated degree in nursing - 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty - Strong knowledge in general medicine and expertise in respiratory skills Description: We are seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our Med Surg Telemetry team. The position requires floating to other units as needed. Nurses in this area care for patients with a wide range of respiratory disorders. The nurse-to-patient ratio in this pulmonary unit is 1:6. Collaboration is key, with strong partnerships alongside respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy. Candidates must have a foundational understanding of general medicine and advanced skills in respiratory care. Every other weekend and holidays are required.
