SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the C2 DEPARTMENT (CODE 530) of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will supervise a branch of personnel consisting of technical and administrative specialists. You will establish performance expectations; evaluate employee contributions; recommend awards, promotions, and disciplinary actions; provide technical and career guidance; and establish training plans. You will lead or participate in division and/or department councils, special projects, or working groups. You will participate in strategic planning efforts for the division and/or department. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:leading strategic planning efforts, working groups, and/or special projects, spearheading the design, engineering, architecture, implementation and/or management of Command and Control (C2) Information Technology (IT) systems, providing technical and project management oversight, and supporting process improvement initiatives; and leading in center-wide councils and special projects.
