Legal Practice Assistant – Litigation

New York, NY | Hybrid | Up to $105K

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Practice Assistant to join its New York litigation team. This is a hands-on role supporting multiple attorneys in a sophisticated practice, with a combination of litigation document production, court filings, billing, calendaring, client/matter administration, and day-to-day attorney support.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare, revise, format, and finalize briefs, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
\n
• Handle e-filings and matters involving New York and federal court procedures
\n
• Manage attorney calendars, meetings, travel, expenses, time entry, and client billing
\n
• Assist with new client/matter intake, conflicts checks, and file management
\n
• Maintain electronic files and correspondence within the firm’s document management system
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 4+ years of Legal Practice Assistant or Legal Secretary experience within a law firm
\n
• Strong litigation support experience
\n
• Knowledge of New York and federal court filing procedures
\n
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a high-volume environment
\n
• Securities litigation/enforcement experience is preferred
\n
• Bankruptcy litigation exposure is a plus
\n
• Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe skills; iManage experience is a plus
\n

Schedule: Hybrid, with core hours of 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Compensation: Up to $105K, depending on experience
