Hire Up Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Support Specialist to join our client's team in Salt Lake City, UT!

This onsite opportunity is ideal for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who has experience in construction support, credit, collections, or account management. The primary focus of this position will be supporting lien waivers and construction-related documentation while also assisting with customer accounts, credit, payments, and reporting.

Position Details

• Location: Salt Lake City, UT
• Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and process customer lien waivers according to established guidelines.
• Support compliance with applicable lien laws across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah.
• Assist with pre-lien, bond claim, and other construction-related documentation.
• Work closely with customers and the Credit team to resolve lien waiver and documentation issues.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Credit & Collections Support

• Assist with monitoring past-due accounts and collection activities.
• Process customer payments through credit card and ACH.
• Assist customers with online account access.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Identify and appropriately escalate potential account risks.

Account Setup & Administrative Support

• Manage customer account setup and ongoing account maintenance.
• Review credit applications for completeness and obtain required documentation.
• Maintain accurate and compliant customer credit files.
• Support shared mailbox workflow while meeting established service-level expectations.

Reporting & Systems

• Assist with A/R reporting and aging reviews.
• Utilize systems such as Eclipse, BillTrust, GETPAID, and other credit-related platforms.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation across internal systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of advanced education or a degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of office or administrative experience.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in construction, credit, collections, accounting, or customer account support preferred.
• Experience with construction creation and lien waiver support is required.
• Working knowledge of lien waivers and construction documentation strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting customer accounts or credit operations is a plus.
• Notary Public certification preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and Copilot.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
