Description
- Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and senior populations utilizing case assessments and observational methods.
- Create tailored treatment plans that cater to immediate goals and the broader spectrum of communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, healthcare providers, caregivers, and family members to devise integrated care regimens.
- Provide educational resources to patients and families to bolster progress in between therapy appointments.
- Assist with inpatient evaluations and treatments as needed, ensuring seamless care throughout each patient's therapeutic journey.
- Maintain prompt and precise documentation in alignment with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities and maintain connections with fellow professionals to keep abreast of industry advances.
Education
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still progressing towards ASHA certification.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

- Expertise in evidence-based treatments for various ages, with deep knowledge of developmental and acquired language and swallowing disorders.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
