Description

• Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and senior populations utilizing case assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans that cater to immediate goals and the broader spectrum of communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, healthcare providers, caregivers, and family members to devise integrated care regimens.
• Provide educational resources to patients and families to bolster progress in between therapy appointments.
• Assist with inpatient evaluations and treatments as needed, ensuring seamless care throughout each patient's therapeutic journey.
• Maintain prompt and precise documentation in alignment with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities and maintain connections with fellow professionals to keep abreast of industry advances.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still progressing towards ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
