Assistant Project Manager

Details Location Folan Waterproofing Office 795 Washington Street, South Easton, MA 02375 Position Type Full-Time Team Project Management Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our Construction Project Managers in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a good understanding of project management processes, and the ability to assist in driving projects forward while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities Project Planning Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Help create and maintain detailed project timelines, tracking critical milestones and deliverables. Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates for stakeholder review. Assist in contract onboarding, including but not limited to submittals, subcontractors onboarding, performing CORI check submissions and overall job set up. Project Execution Assist in overseeing daily operations on construction sites to ensure adherence to project plans, safety standards, and regulations. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other external parties to facilitate timely delivery of materials and services. Help manage project risks and address issues or changes in scope as they arise. Participate in regular team and onsite meetings to review project status, address concerns, and set priorities. Represent the company at meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed, promoting a positive image and fostering new business opportunities. Project Completion Assist in the completion of all necessary documentation, including warranties and compliance tasks. Aid in coordinating project handover to the client, ensuring all requirements are met and the client is satisfied. Participate in post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, capture lessons learned, and provide recommendations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 3+ years of experience in construction project management or a related role. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
