Remote work flexibility is available on other days as determined by the department Salary: The hiring salary for Associate Asset Manager is $95,109-$101,767. Applications will be reviewed after the closing date About the Job: The Finance & Airline Relations department is looking for an Associate Asset Manager with a keen eye for detail and a curiosity for how airport operations, real estate, and agreements intersect to support the business of aviation. This role helps administer the Airport Authority’s real estate agreements with airlines’ related tenants, ensuring those agreements accurately reflect how space is used across the airport and deliver the value they were designed to generate. Working alongside Asset Managers, the Associate Asset Manager supports agreement administration, monitors lease compliance, coordinates tenant improvement projects, and maintains strong working relationships with tenants. The role collaborates closely with internal teams across the Authority to help ensure that operational needs, financial terms, and tenant agreements remain aligned. The ideal candidate will bring strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and an interest in understanding how operational realities and financial terms connect. They are comfortable reviewing agreements, asking thoughtful questions, and working collaboratively to resolve issues and keep projects moving forward. What You’ll Do: Real Estate Agreement Administration: Support the administration of airport real estate agreements by researching terms, preparing documentation, and helping ensure agreements align with Authority policies and program requirements Tenant Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned airline and tenant accounts, ensuring compliance with agreement terms including financial obligations, reporting requirements, and operational standards Lease Compliance & Space Oversight: Monitor tenant spaces and conduct inspections to ensure leased areas are used in accordance with agreement terms and Authority policies Tenant Improvement Coordination: Review and coordinate routine tenant improvement projects to ensure alignment with lease provisions, operational needs, and airport standards Negotiation & Transaction Support: Assist Asset Managers with real estate negotiations, transactions, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs); help prepare and administer routine airport-related agreements Tenant & Internal Coordination: Act as a liaison between tenants and internal stakeholders to support projects, resolve operational issues, and maintain alignment across departments Issue Resolution: Investigate and support resolution of tenant or public concerns related to leased spaces, agreements, or operational matters Operational & Asset Efficiency: Understands how tenant agreements, operational space usage, and billing systems intersect to identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, tenant services, and operational efficiency The Skills You Need: Relationship Management — Builds and maintains productive relationships with airline and tenant representatives while collaborating with internal stakeholders to support operational and business objectives. Balances strong customer service with accountability to the Authority’s agreements and policies Communication — Clearly and tactfully exchanges information verbally and in writing with tenants, colleagues, and leadership; prepares reports and presentations and facilitates discussions to support projects and agreement administration Agreement & Contract Interpretation — Reviews and interprets lease and program agreements to ensure compliance with contract provisions, financial obligations, reporting requirements, and operational standards Analytical Thinking — Connects operational realities, agreement terms, and financial implications to identify discrepancies, evaluate issues, and support informed decision-making related to airport assets and tenant agreements Time Management & Coordination — Prioritizes and manages multiple agreements, tenant relationships, and projects simultaneously; develops action plans, follows through on commitments, and adjusts priorities as operational needs evolve Problem Solving & Agility — Identifies issues affecting tenants, operations, or agreements and responds with practical, timely solutions while coordinating with internal teams to resolve concerns effectively Integrity & Accountability — Exercises sound judgment and discretion in situations involving financial, operational, or tenant matters, recognizing the Authority’s responsibility as both a public agency and a business enterprise About the Team: The Finance & Airline Relations team oversees airline budgets, treasury functions, financial performance, and agreement management. Requirements The Experience You Need to Have**: Three years of progressively responsible professional business experience, at least two years of which involve commercial or industrial asset management, property management, and/ or real estate development, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Graduation from an accredited four year college or university in business or public administration, finance, real estate, or a closely related field. Preferred Education, Certification, and Licenses: Advanced degree such as a Master’s degree in business, public administration, finance, real estate, or a Juris Doctor (JD) Designation as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Airport Certified Employee (ACE) Don’t meet every requirement?
