About the Role The Product Planning role is a cross‑functional position that manages what to build, for whom , and how to deliver value. It bridges product strategy, direction, and execution, focusing on setting the structure of the roadmap to meet company growth and profit goals rather than owning feature requirements. Key Responsibilities & Activities Directional Planning & Initiatives: Develop, manage, and execute key portfolio projects and initiatives. Define the value proposition, maintain detailed product roadmaps, and set milestones based on long‑term vision. Conduct studies and analyses to assess implications of product changes across engineering, data science, operations, finance, and supply chain. Cross‑Functional Alignment: Collaborate with business development, product management, finance, engineering, and operations to maintain a single source of truth for all product plans, roadmaps, data, and assumptions. Own the risk register and proactively build mitigation plans. Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership, nurture relationships, navigate complex dynamics, and manage expectations to influence key decisions. Operational Management: Oversee short‑to‑mid‑term tactical plans, manage the full product lifecycle, and coordinate financials, logistics, inventory, and pricing. About You We’re looking for a bold generalist who thrives in ambiguity, dives deep into technology domains, and rises to challenges across the organization. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats and driving initiatives from ideation to execution. Required Qualifications / Skills 5–8 years of program delivery experience leading software projects in fast‑paced or early‑stage environments. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data‑driven decision making. Technical fluency in automotive, AI/ML, or related domains; ability to collaborate with engineers. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Project management expertise, including risk management and prioritization. Proficiency with tools such as Looker, Agentic AI, JIRA, Confluence, or similar. Growth mindset and openness to feedback. Location & Compensation This full‑time role is based in Sunnyvale. The compensation range is $171,600–$229,300, plus a competitive equity package, depending on experience and qualifications.
