About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Americas Services to join their dynamic, global business enterprise. The successful candidate will be part of an agile, business-focused legal team, providing strategic, transactional, and litigation support. This role involves partnering with business leadership to drive profitable growth, refine operational risk management practices, and ensure compliance with industry trends and regulatory developments. The ideal candidate will have a combination of private practice and in-house experience, with a Bar admission in good standing, and 7 to 10 years' of experience. Key responsibilities include analyzing and mitigating operational and contractual risks, providing business-minded legal counsel, and directing pre-litigation strategy. The role also requires the ability to stay abreast of legal trends and to leverage technology and AI tools for efficient legal work. Candidates for the Assistant General Counsel position at the company should be adaptable, innovative, and demonstrate a strong business acumen. The role demands a high level of proficiency in problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively in time-sensitive situations.
