Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2692.80/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver proficient emergency care to a diverse patient population from newborns to seniors.
  
  
• 
  Perform ESI triage, IV insertions, and conduct various infusions and medication administrations.
  
  
• 
  Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to document patient assessments and interventions accurately.
  
  
• 
  Assist with patient transports, including ambulance transfers for higher-level care when needed.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, mid-level providers, and ED techs, to ensure seamless patient care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with minimal scheduling conflicts.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications, with NIHSS completed prior to start.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 2 years of recent in-unit ED experience and 1 prior travel assignment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate charge nurse experience and proficiency with EPIC EMR within the last 2 years.
  
  
• 
  Possess reliable transportation, as public transit is unavailable, and be prepared for winter driving conditions.
  
  
• 
  Show flexibility to work 2 out of 4 major holidays and support patient care needs during high-volume periods.
