Work Environment

This position is based in an onsite hospital setting in Cupertino, offering a structured yet supportive atmosphere for healthcare professionals. Our schedule allows for a work-life balance with regular hours from Monday to Friday, either from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring you have time to recharge and maintain personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of individualized treatment plans as directed by licensed Physical Therapists, ensuring compliance with therapeutic goals.
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace for both clinicians and patients.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, providing timely updates and feedback to the therapy team to adjust treatment plans when necessary.
• Engage patients with various modalities such as therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate their rehabilitation journey.
• Support essential administrative functions, including patient scheduling, intake processes, and insurance verification to ensure seamless operational flow.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program, with eligibility for licensure in California.
• A valid and active California PTA license.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of therapy practices.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.
• Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to engage with patients effectively will be key assets in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in a musculoskeletal physical therapy setting, particularly in managing postoperative cases.
• Background in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
