The Leasing Consultant plays a critical role in our community’s achievement by delivering a “WOW” experience to existing residents and prospective tenants alike. Key responsibilities include leading tours of our high-quality apartments and rental homes, maintaining consistent follow-up with leads, and boosting occupancy through effective sales strategies. For this front-facing position, we are looking for an outgoing and proactive professional who possesses a proven track record in leasing, sales, or a related industry. The successful candidate will act as the primary ambassador for the community, greeting guests with enthusiasm and providing professional insight into our living spaces. About this Opportunity: Address: 13100 Stonefield Dr, Houston, TX 77014 Pay Rate: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Employment Status: Full-time What we are looking for in a Leasing Consultant Candidate: A strong background in multiple years of multifamily property management is required. Proven ability to drive positive results while representing and promoting core values. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong outreach and social media marketing background. Experience conducting accurate market surveys by conducting in-person shops on a regular basis. A sense of empowerment, accountability, and success at achieving goals, driving performance, and developing team members. Appfolio, G‑suite, and Microsoft Office experience is a plus. Organizing and coordinating resident events monthly. What you will do as a Leasing Consultant: Respond to all leads within 4 hours and manage the full lead-to-lease process. Prospect weekly and build relationships with local businesses for cross‑promotion. Network with major employers, universities, and hospitals to generate traffic. Conduct leasing tours using DLP’s Standards of Excellence and close with confidence. Assist prospects in applying using online tools and proven closing techniques. Create and lead resident programs to enhance the living experience. Build relationships with current and past residents to drive referrals. Regularly walk and inspect the property to ensure cleanliness and functionality. Maintain accurate CRM records, guest cards, follow‑ups, and lease paperwork. Communicate consistently with the Community Manager, leadership, and teammates. Attend all required meetings and trainings; manage goals and time effectively.
