Job Description Handle insurance coverage and complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution. Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues involving sophisticated commercial claims. Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents. Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies. Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and experts. Manage written discovery and motion practice. Appear in state and federal court proceedings. Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance. Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on complex litigation matters. Mentor junior legal staff as experience grows. Qualifications Active Florida Bar license required. 2+ years of litigation experience in insurance coverage litigation and/or complex commercial litigation. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs. Deposition and courtroom experience preferred. Insurance coverage or policyholder-side experience highly preferred. Construction-related insurance or risk transfer experience is a plus. Ability to manage multiple complex matters in a collaborative environment.
