If you’re ready to bring your perspective and thrive in a people-first culture, join us and make an impact.HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:The Senior Business Analyst – eCommerce serves as the strategic technology partner for Oregon Tool's business teams within the global Sales, Marketing and Commerce (B2B, B2C) areas and is accountable for maintaining and delivering enhancements to the B2B user experience and platform functionality, driving measurable business value and supporting our customer-centric vision.THE DETAILS: Business Partnership & StrategyServe as the primary IT partner for business teams within global Sales, Marketing and Commerce (B2B, B2C) areasCollaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for process optimization, revenue growth, and enhanced customer experienceTranslate business strategy into technology roadmaps, requirements, and solution recommendationsLead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements gathering for business initiativesDevelop business cases, ROI analyses, and solution recommendations for new investments and enhancementsPromote best practices and process standardization across global operationsAdvise stakeholders on how technology can enable and improve business processes and customer engagementEnsure solutions meet business requirements while maintaining scalability, security, and operational efficiencyMaintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documentsWork effectively and collaboratively with a hybrid teamProject Delivery & Continuous ImprovementLead business systems projects from concept through implementationCoordinate with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful deliveryFacilitate testing, user acceptance activities, training, and change management effortsSupport issue resolution through root cause analysis and corrective action planningMonitor system performance, user feedback, and business outcomes to drive continuous improvementManage third-party consulting and vendor relationships as requiredBusiness SystemsProvide sustaining functional support for our B2B/B2C ecommerce applications and web propertiesCollaborate with IT development operations and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues promptly while adhering to IT protocols and standardsDevelop and maintain documentation for business process design, including high-level overviews, detailed functional specifications, and visual aids such as process flows. Regularly updates documentation as processes evolve, tailoring content to the appropriate audienceConduct training sessions for business users on new process implementations. Shares best practices across the organization to ensure effective and efficient use of business applicationsPartner with ERP, integration, and development teams to ensure seamless data flow between websites, commerce platforms, and SAPIdentify and evaluate emerging technologies that improve customer experience and operational effectivenessSupport application extensions, system configurations, testing, and deployment activitiesQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business or a related field3+ years of project management experience leading global, complex, cross functional initiatives. Developing and managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risks, issues, and change requests6+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on eCommerce systems operations and design2+ of hands-on experience with B2B eCommerce platforms (e.g., Corevist, Shopify, SAP Commerce Cloud) in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industriesDemonstrated experience eliciting requirements for customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX) related to ecommerce and web propertiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft TeamsExperience with OpenText Media Manager (DAM) Administration, Data Syndication (Salsify preferred), and SAP Commerce Cloud a plusExperience in an SAP ERP environment a plusManufacturing industry and multi-channel sales & marketing experience is a plusAvailability:Available to work on site as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to two weeks’ durationAvailable to work on-site and collaborate with global teams across multiple time zonesAt Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $130,000 to $145,000. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
