Licensed Psychologist | Corrections Mental Health | Up to $175K Full Time | Psychology | Correctional Healthcare Position Overview Clinical psychology role within a correctional healthcare environment Responsible for psychological assessment, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health services Works collaboratively with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, security personnel, and other clinical staff Provides services to inmates/residents within an institutional setting Onsite position; not remote Compensation Salary range: $165,000-$175,000 annually Signing bonus may be offered during negotiations Responsibilities Conduct psychological screenings and assessments Review records and perform clinical interviews Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention services Make rounds in segregation and confined housing areas Assess inmate adjustment and mental health treatment needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams Consult with psychiatry, nursing, medical, educational, chaplain, and security staff Provide psychological services and behavioral interventions Coordinate psychological service programs within the facility Facility CoreCivic correctional facility ICE detention environment housing both male and female detainees Institutional mental health setting Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement benefits Paid time off Requirements Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university (REQUIRED) Current unrestricted Kansas Psychologist license (REQUIRED) Minimum two years of clinical experience (REQUIRED) Minimum one year in a comparable position (REQUIRED) Ability to work onsite in Leavenworth, Kansas (REQUIRED) Corrections or detention experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Purple Cow Recruiting
