Chief of Staff to Co-Founder

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to provide comprehensive support to a Co-Founder and Partner across professional, personal, and household spheres. This individual will ensure the Partner’s time, attention, and energy are dedicated to the highest-value priorities and strategic objectives.

This role is ideal for a polished, discreet, and resourceful professional who can seamlessly transition between executive-level operational support and sophisticated household and personal oversight. The ideal candidate brings impeccable judgment, anticipatory thinking, and a service-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate smoothly into existing relationships, collaborating effectively with business partners, associates, and staff.
\n
• Manage complex scheduling, prioritization, and time-blocking with a deep understanding of the firm and Managing Partner’s rhythms and preferences.
\n
• Coordinate domestic and international travel.
\n
• Maintain sensitive documents and records.
\n
• Liaise with professional advisors as needed.
\n
• Manage communications, workflows, and follow-through across business, philanthropy, and personal initiatives.
\n
• Lead special projects and high-priority initiatives with end-to-end ownership.
\n
• Uphold the Managing Partner’s preferences and long-term objectives across all interactions and decisions.
\n
• Complete ad hoc requests as needed

Household Management & Personal Assistance

\n
• Provide executive oversight of all household operations and domestic staff.
\n
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, vendor relationships, capital projects, and long-term property planning.
\n
• Supervise household staffing: recruitment, training, schedules, and performance management.
\n
• Manage personal and family logistics, including appointments, events, gifting, and celebrations.
\n
• Anticipate and proactively resolve the Partner’s personal needs.
\n
• Handle personal errands.
\n
• Support family responsibilities and logistics.
\n
• Complete ad hoc requests as needed.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 5+ years in Chief of Staff, family office operations, senior Executive Assistant, Estate/Household Manager, or equivalent UHNW support roles.
\n
• Demonstrated experience supporting a founder, principal, investor, or high-profile individual.
\n
• Exceptional communication, organization, and strategic prioritization skills.
\n
• Ability to operate with grace under pressure and manage multiple high-stakes priorities.
\n
• High EQ, diplomacy, and the ability to integrate seamlessly into a private ecosystem.
\n
• Tech-savvy and systems-oriented; adept at building processes that create stability and efficiency.
\n
• Ability for occasional domestic and international travel as needed.
\n

Location: Washington D.C

Schedule: Full-time, M-F

Compensation: $175k+ DOE + Comprehensive benefits package
