President | PE-backed Manufacturing Platform

Connect Search is partnering with a Chicago-based private equity firm to identify a President for a portfolio manufacturing platform based in the western suburbs. Ownership takes a long-term hold approach and is investing in equipment, product expansion, and scale.

The Opportunity

The business has a strong brand and loyal customers. The President will lead the platform, build its commercial engine, and drive the next phase of growth.

Primarily US sales with international presence

What You'll Do

Own the P&L, budget, forecasts, and KPIs
Build and lead the sales strategy, including key accounts and new customer acquisition
Drive product line expansion and new market opportunities
Develop talent and lead change across the organization

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred
6 to 12 years of management experience with P&L responsibility, ideally in small or middle market manufacturing
Commercial orientation with a track record of generating new revenue
Strong people leadership and financial management skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Compensation

Highly competitive base salary plus bonus
