Louisa Foods is currently seeking qualified applicants for an Retail Sales Administrative Assistant. Then it will turn into a hybrid in-office/work from home position with 2-3 days WFH. Note that in 2027, the Valmeyer IL location will be moved to St. Louis, MO (Overland) area.JOB DUTIES:Sales Support functions include track and record customer contracts, including data entry of invoices related to contracts. Handle and resolve customer issues and follow-up on past due accounts. Calculate commissions and other customer incentive programs. Reconcile accounts for accuracy. Process customer orders obtained by phone, fax, and internet, including coordination of delivery and sourcing freight carriers. Will also perform additional assignments per management's direction, as needed.COMPETENCIES / QUALIFICATIONS:Must have professional mannerisms.Must be able to make sound decisions based on supervisor guidance.Works in an organized manner to meet daily goals.Able to accept feedback and modify behavior accordingly.Self-motivated and continuously looking to improve.Responsible for work done and can work from home without distractions.Associate 's degree in business or related field is preferred but not required.Two or more years of sales support experience preferred.EDI experience is a plus.Must have advanced knowledge of a variety of office practices and procedures, such as office equipment and Microsoft Office products.
