Materials ManagerThe Materials Manager at Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is responsible for overall project materials management including, sourcing, procurement, logistics and on-site contractor management for the Company.What You'll DoDevelops and manages industry best material management practices and resources with clientWorks with customer approved local vendors to quickly obtain materials when expedited requests are neededWorks directly with procurement to ensure project materials adhere to construction and delivery schedules, and effectively communicate with client, project team and vendors to obtain the precise material required on timePerforms material take-offs and works with customer, engineering, project management and construction to determine necessary material for project completionManages lead times and material availability by identifying the material construction need dates, order by dates, and material decision points to be included in project schedules;
