As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Incident Response Patrol in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for members, visitors, and employees. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, financial institution policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while following applicable laws, regulations, and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
